El Puente means "The Bridge." It represents my way of bridging my family to yours through food, hospitality, and meaningful connection. Every menu reflects my Hispanic roots while embracing a fresh, elevated approach to modern entertaining. At the heart of everything we do is a love for tradition, thoughtful details, and a commitment to creating celebrations that feel welcoming, intentional, and unforgettable.
MY STORY
Hi! I'm Emmeline Basulto
I am the creative director of your culinary experience, designing elevated moments where food, presentation, and story come together with intention.
As a child, I spent countless hours beside my mother in the kitchen as she prepared savory dishes inspired by her homeland, the Dominican Republic. Watching food bring people together taught me that every meal has the power to tell a story, preserve tradition, and create lasting memories.
Raised in New York City, I built my foundation in hospitality surrounded by diverse cultures, creativity, and the fast-paced standards of exceptional service. While my passion for food began early, it was through my walk with Christ that my purpose became clear. What started as a love for cooking became a calling to serve others by creating meaningful experiences around the table.
